Application Period:
March 24, 2025 (Mon) – November 28, 2025 (Fri)
(Support is provided selectively until the budget is exhausted.)
Eligible Tracks:
Pre-Investment Support: Foreign companies or overseas corporations planning to enter Seoul between 2025 and 2026.
Investment Support: Companies that completed corporate establishment or related registration in Seoul between December 2024 and November 2025.
Post-Investment Support: Seoul-based companies that attracted additional foreign direct investment (FDI) during the current year after the initial 2024 FDI.

Submit applications through the official website: https://investseoul.org
Eligibility Criteria
Pre-Investment Support: Applicants that have not received support within the past three years and belong to Seoul’s strategic industries.
Investment Support: Criteria vary depending on company type and amount of foreign investment inflow.
Post-Investment Support: Companies that received an additional FDI of at least KRW 100 million in the current year.

Operational Procedure
After settling service provider fees, the applicant company or its authorized representative prepares the supporting documents.
The applicant company or its authorized representative submits the application and uploads the required documents through the website – investseoul.org.
The Seoul Investment Promotion Agency reviews the documents and decides whether to provide the subsidy.

Seoul Metropolitan Government Incentives
Cash Grant
Up to 50% of the total FDI amount may be provided as a cash grant when FDI and employment obligations are fulfilled over five years.
• Land and building purchase or lease costs, Construction costs
• Capital goods and research equipment purchase costs, and infrastructure installation costs, etc.
※ The grant amount is determined through negotiation and deliberation by the Foreign Investment Committee.
Employment and Training Subsidy
For companies with foreign investment ownership of 30% or more, up to KRW 200 million is provided when new employment or training occurs within five years after investment.
If a company maintains more than five full-time employees as of 2024, up to KRW 1 million per person per year may be provided for a maximum of six months.
Tax Reduction
Applicable to companies located in individual-type Foreign Investment Zones (FIZ) with investments of USD 2 million or more
Acquisition and property tax reduction: 100% exemption for the taxable base amount for acquisition tax, 50% exemption for the taxable base amount for property tax
Exemption of customs duties, individual consumption tax, and value-added tax for imported capital goods used within the FIZ only.
Designation as Service-Type Foreign Investment Zone
Applicable when a company with foreign ownership of 30% or more invests an amount equivalent to or greater than the total subsidy in rental fees and invests at least 100% of the land or building value.
Rental Support: Up to 50% of the standard rent (excluding pension fund buildings)
Support Period: During the tenancy agreement period, up to five years
Seoul International Financial Office Occupancy Support
Office space in Yeouido provided to foreign financial institutions newly entering or re-entering Korea
Support for networking events among tenant institutions and related organizations
Access to shared facilities, including meeting and seminar rooms
